Our 5th Year
Riding on the success of its 2004-7 shows, the Fairfield County Concours
d'Elegance returns with over 140 of the world's most
extraordinary classic automobiles and rare motorcycles at our venue, The
Fairfield County Hunt Club in Westport, Connecticut, on Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September
21, 2008.
The 2008 show will again include a selection of antique cars, sports
cars, racing and touring cars, muscle cars, vintage American and European cars, and
rare motorcycles.
Special Exhibits will include "Winners at the Amelia Island Concours
d'Elegance", "60 Years of Racing at Watkins Glen", and the
"Artful Dodgers".

Special on-field judging classes include Ferrari, Preservation Vehicles, Cars of '58,
and vehicles eligible for Classic Car Club of America® membership. for more information.
In addition, each vehicle on display has a descriptive "car card"
that tells our guests what makes this particular vehicle notable. Data
could include rarity, provenance (who has owned it, where has it raced
and so on) and historical importance.
We have added a by reservation gala dinner and an Art & Automobilia exhibition previewing on Saturday evening
with guest speaker Frank Deford.
The Art & Automobilia exhibition will continue through the Concours on Sunday.
Our featured artist is internationally renowned . The Automobilia
expo will feature numerous vendors of automotive collectibles.
We will also showcase the work of local and regional artists in the Town Green
tent.
As always, we will feature several activities for children (also in the Town
Green Tent) to make their attendance at the Concours exciting for them
and a pleasure for their parents.
Food is available, provided by The Fairfield County Hunt Club.
